China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT)

Established in May 1952, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) comprises VIPS, enterprises and organizations representing the economic and trade sectors in China. It is the most important and the largest institution for the promotion of foreign trade in China.

The aims of the CCPIT are to operate and promote foreign trade, to use foreign investment, to introduce advanced foreign technologies, to conduct activities of Sino- foreign economic and technological cooperation in various forms, to promote the development of economic and trade relations between China and other countries and regions around the world, and to promote the mutual understanding and friendship between China and peoples and economic and trade circles of all nations around the world, in line with law and government policies of the People's Republic of China.

With the approval of the Chinese government, the CCPIT started to adopt a separate name China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC)- in 1988, which is used simultaneously with the CCPIT. The CCPIT admits new members from among enterprises in all parts of China and promotes trade through its functions of information consultation, exhibition, legal assistance, etc.

 

Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC)

Established in 1966, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory organisation with a mission to create business opportunities for Hong Kong companies. The HKTDC is the international marketing arm for Hong Kong-based traders, manufacturers and services providers. With more than 40 global offices, including 11 on the Chinese mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a platform for doing business with China and throughout Asia.

The HKTDC connects millions of international buyers and sellers through a variety of integrated services, including its trade fairs, online marketplace and product magazines.

One of the world's major trade fair organisers, the HKTDC holds more than 30 international trade fairs each year in Hong Kong. Nine of these are the biggest of their kind in Asia, and three are the largest in the world.

The HKTDC's on line market place, www.hktdc.com, features more than 1.2 million registered buyers and 120,000 suppliers from Hong Kong, the mainland and beyond. Users can browse through more than 9,000 clearly defined product categories to find products and services quickly and efficiently.

China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Provincial Committee (CCPIT Guangdong) and China Chamber of International Commerce Guangdong Chamber of Commerce (CCOIC Guangdong) Is a non-governmental foreign economic and trade organization, comprised of representatives, personalities, enterprises and organizations of the economic and trade circles In Guangdong Province. It implements membership system with more than 3,000 members. It has 23 CCPIT branches In the cities, and 18 branch chambers of commerce in the counties and districts of the cities of Guangdong Province. The nation-wide network of CCPIT is the strong support to us.

Following the polices, laws and regulations of the People ' s Republic of China, the constitution of CCPIT and the international norms and practice, CCPIT Guangdong alms to promote international trade, investment and technological cooperation, and to promote the peoples ' mutual understanding and friendship between Guangdong and other parts of the world. CCPIT Guangdong has established cooperative and friendly relations with 34 trade promotion organizations or chambers of commerce and Industry In other countries and regions. The Sub-Council of Commercial Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade is also called Commercial Chamber of Commerce, China Chamber of International Commerce.
